Well how do I begin? Mum and Dad said we were going to the beach for a weeks holiday …… I think Mum thought Dad said a month! You should have seen the packed car it was a military operation Dad said. I spent a lovely day walking around the Queen’s residence I must admit it was posh. What a fantastic week I have had, the barn is so lovely Mum wanted to move in, Dad cooked a BBQ and Mum drank wine. We all played bowls in the Fountain Bar and swam in the sea and played on all the lovely beaches. The Gin Trap, Ringstead, is nice and the walk there is so lovely. We all did Sandringham Park run and Mum came 1st in her age category. Thank you so much. Love Rose and Mum and Dad

Beautifully fitted out, comfortable property and we enjoyed a (fortunately) rainless holiday here, albeit the wind was rather strong and cold. The dogs had a great time chasing balls on a few of the beaches and some lovely walks at Sandringham. Thank you Angie and John.
Lovely cottage, everything we needed for a family of six. Nice walks from here to Hunstanton beach through the golf course. If you have children, the park at Sandringham is perfect and the Castle and Priory at Castle Acre will fulfil your cultural needs. Neighbours seem lovely. Thanks – enjoyed the prosecco and the kiddies appreciated the candy!
Our second stay at Owlets! Just as good as the first. Fabulous! An amazing property that has everything you need! Added bonus was the fantastic weather. A relaxing week spent eating and drinking along the North Norfolk coast. Major highlight was the wine tasting at Burn Valley Vineyard.

We have had the most wonderful week as a family in celebration of a 50th birthday. Owlets is a wonderful property and we have had fun days out to Sandringham, Sea Life Centre, Brancaster beach, North Norfolk steam railway and golf. Back here three years after first visited and as before loved our stay. We walk in and it feels like home. Barney celebrates his fifth birthday on this holiday as he celebrated his second last time we stayed at Owlets. Its such a great cottage and so convenient for seeing much of the North Norfolk we love and good also for walking straight out the back or front door. As we said last time we will return, hopefully sooner the next time.

What a place! Everything we needed, and easy to find! Had a wonderful time. Superb location to explore the area from. Lovely to enjoy a cuppa at the front with the sun in the morning and then something a bit stronger in the back with the sun in the evening! So relaxing. Even the Jack Russell was chilled. Great location fantastic walks and beaches could not have asked for more as had five days of glorious sunshine. Walks from doorstep or short drive and beaches walkable dependant on type of beach. We loved Titchwell RSPB 1km walk through reserve then huge sandy secluded beach with hardly a soul on. Favourite venue Orange Tree at Thornham two great meals. Norfolk Lavender great farm shop not cheapest but on holiday! great deli and meat counter.

Really enjoyed our week’s stay at Owlets. So much to see, visiting the majestic stately homes at Holkham Hall, Houghton Hall and homely Sandringham. Wandering around delightful Burnham Market and Georgian Holt. Gazing at the landscape for lasting memories at Cley, Holkham and Wells Next the Sea. Best of all was walking along the sea front from Heacham to the end of the colourful striped cliffs at Hunstanton. Owlets has been a fantastic base for my big birthday this weekend. Such lovely accommodation (I’ve been wanting to stay here for a while) and all organised by my daughter as a surprise. Really enjoyed my weekend here with the family in one of my favourite parts of Norfolk. I know the area well and come here for days out so have visited lots of places in the local area and have some favourite restaurants locally. My family still managed to organise meals at places I hadn’t been to before including Tapas at Socias in Burnham Market. We also played golf at Hunstanton which was great fun. The weather was kind so we enjoyed walks at local beaches with our dog Millie. As always, I never feel like I have long enough here. Looking forward to coming back. Thank you.

We’ve loved the beaches at Old Hunstanton and Holkham and Thornham Deli is the best for coffee, breakfast and local produce and gifts to take home. Also in Thornham we’d recommend Eric’s Fish and Chips (inc GF options) for eat in and take away. The Orange Tree where we had a delicious lunch. Another recommendation is the farm shop at Norfolk Lavender. We also had a fun but relaxing day on a self-drive boat we picked up at Wroxham and my daughter and I found time for a wonderful Decleor facial at the Mulberry Barn Spa. Thanks for our lovely stay.

We have had a fantastic visit at Owlets barn for our second year now. What a beautiful home from home! Perfect location. Our two year old Arlo has absolutely loved it. We can recommend a visit to the beach at Titchwell and Holme Nature Reserve. The White Horse pub in Holme has beautiful food and also an outdoor play area! The Jolly Sailor at Brancaster Staithe is also fantastic. Thank you John and Angie for a wonderful stay again!

Loved the house and all that’s in it. Loved the location as great for walks with Barney our dog, golf and pubs that serve excellent food. Brought elderly mother away for a few days too and Heacham Manor was perfect for a Mother’s Day lunch (some gorgeous young ducklings swimming on the pond was added bonus). Stay extra special as saw little owl on the roof one morning. I would thoroughly recommend this cottage and return ourselves. Thank you Angie. PS Barney loved the biscuits as not allowed them at home!

We looked on-line and thought Owlets looked good. On arrival we were blown away with the quality and detail of the property, absolutely stunning. The walk over the golf course and back through Heacham, about 5 miles, was delightful. Wells, Brancaster etc less than an half hour away. Sunday lunch at The Lodge, Old Hunstanton was brilliant. We have had a very relaxing break made better by the quality of this property – TV, soundbar and Netflix! Our cocker spaniel has walked about 4 miles every day and has loved relaxing on the underfloor heating. The boot room works well for keeping the dog in to get dry and maintain the house. Will definitely return to a “quality” home.

Thank you very much for such a wonderful place to enjoy our holiday. The barn is beautiful and sparkling clean. It’s a joy to return to after a day exploring all of the fabulous places which are so nearby. We had a couple of great meals at the Rose and Crown in Snettisham and agree with previous guests that the Bordoli’s pizza van on a Wednesday evening is great! We had lovely walks on the beach with our girls and Dash. We also discovered Holkham beach which is a bit of a trek from the car park area but is simply stunning. Boating at Holkham Hall was good fun too. Thank you for welcoming us to the property during the storm Angie and for the lovely goodies. We plan to return very soon.

Thank you for our stay. Six lovely ladies and a sixteen week old baby have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Owlets. What a relaxing space and the light in the building is so calming even on the baby. We adore the interior design and we are all inspired by the local artists’ pieces and work that are beautifully displayed in the house. We cooked in for all our meals and we had every utensil and cooking aid we could ever need. We will definitely be returning regularly. Thank you for having us Angie. PS. Owlets has proved to be a stunning property in a beautiful location. Despite inclement weather, the amenities and comfort of this property meant that we still had a great holiday. out Elderly Collie loved the underfloor heating after a long day of walking.
We love the Deli of Norfolk Lavender and Thornham and had a great meal in the yurt at Shuks. The golf at Heacham Manor was a hit with my son and husband. Thank you for making our stay really enjoyable, we shall definitely be returning.

It was so great to spend Christmas together in such a beautiful ‘Owlets’. We had a very brisk walk Christmas Eve on the beach and couldn’t resist a couple of hours in the business park on Boxing Day for the sales. A birthday weekend away, what a lovely place. it is so nice to come somewhere nice that allows your pooch to come with you. You have managed to such a glorious place to stay and the attention to detail is great and the little extras like the prosecco, the cookies & sweets and the doggy treats are a thoughtful extra. The beach walk was a little windy but still great, I can recommend the Cantonese up near lavender hill. we loved this place!

Owlets looked lovely on the website but when we got there it was even more perfect. It’s a beautiful rental, in immaculate condition, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It has everything you could possibly want, all set out so it’s easy to find. We were a party of four adults and two children. The space worked perfectly, all of us having comfy beds, plenty of bathroom space and the open plan downstairs was great for all of us. The boot room was very appreciated after a day at the beach.
The garden is a lovely sun trap in the evening and perfect for sitting with a glass of wine. We couldn’t have asked more from our holiday home and we are fussy! Angie was so welcoming and has clearly put a great deal of time and effort into making it a fabulous place. The ducks and the swing in the grounds of Heacham Golf Club round the corner were an extra special addition. (Upfrontreviews.com)

A family holiday in a lovely house and beautiful location! The house had everything we needed and was lovely and homely and welcoming. It was an added bonus to be able to bring the dogs and both the garden and house catered really well for dogs without any worry! Truly a lovely holiday.

Everything is with striking distance from this lovely Base-Camp!! We particularly enjoyed our Sundowner’s in the sunny garden each day. The easiest decision to make would be to return in the future. Wow!! Wonderful.

We have had a wonderful week in this gorgeous cottage. Such a treat to bring all the family (including Radar, our dog). The cottage is so well equipped and comfortable that we would happily move in permanently! Lovely walks along the beaches here ……………………….

Thank you for creating this perfect holiday retreat, feel really privileged to be staying here. Finding it really hard to pack and come away from Owlets as it’s such a beautiful barn, especially with its location near golf course and beach and a short walk from Hunstanton. You have thought of everything anyone could need while away on holiday, very organised and well equipped. Just love your artwork and attention to detail. Most definitely will be returning. It was only a short break but we packed in quite a bit during our stay. Can recommend ….………….

We feel very privileged to be the first to stay at Owlets. We have stayed at various places in Norfolk, but this is by far the most comfortable and beautifully decorated. There is a real attention to detail that is rarely found in holiday accommodation. We wish you both every success in the future.
